5/9 Chemistry update and Homework due 5/16

Hi folks,

Last week we did a quick tour of the gas laws and spent time on a lab using the gas laws to determine the concentration of an acid. We will spend a bit more time on the math of the gas laws this week.

Homework for this week:

If you didn't finish the lab in class, please do the work at home.

GO OVER ALL OLD QUIZZES. I'd like to take the time to go over any issues or problems you may have in class this week. So, please, look over those old quizzes and come prepared with questions on concepts you may not fully understand. Don't feel shy about asking questions. Remember that whatever question you have, someone else may have but not even know that they have it. :) Any question on a quiz is fair game for the final, so look it all over carefully. If you want to email me the questions ahead of time, so that you don't need to ask them in class, that's fine too.

Good luck everyone!

Jim Mueller

Chemistry Final Exam on May 23

Hi folks,

Just a reminder that we have two more classes and then the final exam.

To prepare for the final, I would highly recommend taking a look at all your old quizzes. The final exam will be based on the same material those quizzes were based on. Be sure to go over all questions that you may have missed and be sure to understand them so that you'll be ready for the exam. If you have trouble understanding where you went wrong, there's a good chance the material was covered in a recording and you can also email me if you need help. Feel free to ask questions at the beginning or end of class as well.

I'll provide all formulas and constants so you will not need to worry about memorizing anything.

Good luck everyone!

Never Stop Wondering,

Science Jim
